Physics: Electric House Projects
In this project students were asked to design and build a cardboard house complete with electrical wiring. Components integrated into each house included: solar panels, ceiling fans, dimmer switches, door bells and lights.
Chemistry: Milk Chemistry - Making Butter
Students ended the term in Chemistry separating the components of milk and learning how butter is formed on the molecular level. Of course we ended the class by sampling our finished products with some fresh bread!

Physics: Walnut Hill Golf and Country Club!?!
It was a blustery day on the Walnut Hill golf course but the leader board still had a few scores under par. Students were able to use their knowledge of mechanics and projectile motion to help navigate the course.

Students were amazed by the color changing abilities of the blue bottle reaction. Critical observations of the process helped generate some interesting hypotheses.
